We aim to uphold the Torah's most enumerated commandment – v'ahavta lere'acha kamocha (loving your neighbor as yourself) – by working to combat hunger and poverty, expand access to healthcare, support vulnerable communities, and combat climate change.

Budget requests move differently from bills. Rather than committee and floor votes, they can be funded through the annual state budget act or through budget "trailer bills" at any point in the session – so items without an outcome yet remain very much in play.
